Documentary - "Selma, Alabama - Race Relations Then and Now"

It has always been a dream of mine to film a documentary in Selma, Alabama of Selma, Alabama titled, “Selma, Alabama – Race Relations Then and Now.”  Fortunately I found a wonderful camera crew, family, and childhood friends to assist me in bringing that dream to life.  The filming is scheduled to begin on November 12, 2016 (Veterans Day Weekend).  I chose this day because it is one that I believe everyone should observe.  So, during the filming, I plan to also give an account of my military experience, respect, and most of all appreciation.    

This documentary is an effort to share not only what has been or is a disparaging in Selma but to share what’s amazing about Selma and to share those in the community, whether they are politicians, blue/white collared, or clergy, who are positively contributing to the life of Selma. 

Sure we had film makers to do a great job but no one can tell a portion of Selma’s story like Selma’s own!

Therefore, I am asking you to stand with me as I not only give my view of Selma but to also support me in pouring back into Selma.  Our overall budget is approximately $6,500.00.  This includes: crew members, crew time, lodging, food, conference room, fuel, cash donations to interviewees, and a donation to a selected military veteran living in Selma.
