9 Ways to Double Your Income During COVID-19

One of the best ways to double your income is to figure out what’s working and do more of that.

Duh!

Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? 

The problem is that you first have to know exactly what’s working and what isn’t. It literally took me two years to do this.  With my help, surely you'll figure it out in a matter of minutes.  

The best way, in my opinion is to track everything. From there you look at your data and make a plan for what you should and shouldn’t be doing going forward. For me, I had to stop allowing "shiny objects" to distract me.  If you don't know what that means, comment below for more information on "shiny object syndrome".

Tracking Everything:

Now that you have time, especially during this pandemic, pay attention.

  • Your first step will be to decide what you want to track. This will be a little different for everyone depending on your business and what you do on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. A good place to start is to look at income and expenses, products or different sources of income, and of course where you spend most of your time. Let’s say you start to track where your income is coming from. If possible, go back and look at the last six to twelve months of financial data. Did you make money selling your own products? Did you get large affiliate commission checks? Did you sell advertising on your websites? 
  • Next you want to look at expenses related to that income. You’ll have some fixed expenses like hosting your website for example, that you should ignore for the purpose of this exercise. Look at cost directly related to each source of income. For example, in order to launch your products, you may hire a graphic designer (FIVERR), a VA (Lolitha Terry - great VA; ask me more in the comments), and pay for your shopping cart software. You may also be paying commissions to affiliates promoting your products. Subtract those costs from the income you’ve made to get a good feel for your actual profits. Other sources of income will have little to no expenses. Once you’ve adjusted your income figures to reflect the profit you’ve made, you can start to compare. 
  • Last but not least, look at the amount of time you’re spending to generate the income. It may take you a full month of working twelve hour days to launch a new big course. On the other hand, you may be able to put together a short eBook or fresh membership content in a day or two by leveraging content you’ve already written or buying pre-written content. Look at the time it takes for each type of product and compare this to the amount of money you expect to make from the launch and going forward. This will help you decide what’s the most profitable way to spend your time.
With all the information at your fingertips, it will be easy to decide what you should be doing more off, what you should be doing less off, and what you should stop doing. Focus most of your time and energy on the most profitable products and income sources. For example, I divided my time advertising Nya's Project on social media, word of mouth wherever I went daily, and asking friends and family to refer my services.  Well, social media and the referral thing wasn't doing much of anything.  I found that I was my biggest advertising Muriel.  The old fashioned one on one contact approach was the winning approach for me.  

Therefore, that's where I began to give most of my time, money, and energy.  

I suggest when you find your money making approach, service, or product work on it for a good six months and look at how much your profits soar. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one strategy alone allows you to double your income.

15 Nuggets to $6000 Contracts

There are many many steps I took in order to getting to those contracts. I'll share the steps but they may or may not be in sequence.  However, they all got me here.  Keep in mind, I'm human so, in other words don't think it was always easy, nor did any of it happen over night.  The key take away is that with the following steps, I was able to manifest my dream. I was:

  1. 1. Convinced that what I had to offer was wanted by hundreds if not thousands.

  2. 2. Persistent - Although I grew weary from time to time, I never ever gave up. In fact, giving up crossed my mind but wasn't an option ever.

  3. 3. Passionate - Everyday my mind was/is constantly seeing, feeling, living, and tasting my vision. How could I expect anyone to buy into something if I didn't whole heartedly buy into it?

  4. 4. Dreaming Big

  5. 5. Excited about life. So many things happened good and not so good during this time. I experienced life as any normal person. There were times I probably should have pulled the covers over my head weeks at a time due to noise on top of noise.

  6. Nevertheless, I reminded myself that unlike some people, I don't have the luxury of retreating to my bed every time I feel like it.

  7. 6. Defining what "being realistic was". I never let anyone define realism for me. I'll go into detail more about this during our coaching session. (Coaching sessions are available April 1 through May 1; eight slots are available)

  8. 7. Affirming who I AM daily. That is what the word of God tells me I am.

  9. 8. Visualizing positive outcomes before they happened.

  10. 9. Opening myself up to my definition of SUCCESS. Opening myself up to attract only those who wanted what I had to offer and who could pay what I said and believed I'm worth.

  11. 10. Being alright with failing forward.

  12. 11. Circulating Money. Investing in Me, and Supporting those who support me.

  13. 12. Trusting in the Divine.

  14. 13. Loving.

  15. 14. Releasing, Recharging, Reshaping and Reaffirming.

  16. 15. Giving Thanks

How I Spent My Valentines Day

A Can of Hope - The Best Gift Ever






Our Bright-hearted Team here at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Airport wouldn't have spent our Valentine's Day any other way. For two weeks, our team, led by Deangelo Weir and Shannon Jessie, have committed to challenge each department within the hotel to donate can goods, etc., to our Brighthearted Community Outreach Project as we wanted to serve. 






Today, we did just that! 

With our Bright-hearted Attitudes, we went into the community and served a local halfway house to create smiles, hugs, and laughter. We heard stories of those whom have never had the privilege to sleep in a hotel, people who sleep under bridges, and unfortunately, families and other individuals without food. 






When we left from sharing our Bright-hearted Attitudes and making a tremendous donation, we all were at awe at how we take necessities for granted, and how the situation so easily could have been us.

Broken down from the floor up is all I was while he was here and even more when he left. I knew it was for the best but as time crept by all I could feel was more heart pain. Seeing the sun seemed so far fetched for all I could see were the gray clouds. If only I can make it til tomorrow. If only I can make it til tomorrow.

Tomorrow comes and then I secretly say to myself again, “If only I can make it til tomorrow. I will make it til tomorrow.” I can't explain my experience with this monster whom only seem/seemed to see his own pain...his own experience(s) with me but not mine. I know him so well.

He's only a pawn making me pay for past discretion with someone else in another life way before us. Getting into that past part of my life is for another time yet is so relevant to “why” so much pain exists today.

I'm strong.

I'm the Queen of Pentacles. There is nothing I can't be, know, or do. It's only a matter of me making it til tomorrow.

I find myself getting stronger day by day

I know he's feeling the loss of me because he LOVEs me... I'm the Queen of Pentacles.

I'm not bragging. Why should I? Not while living in this mess.

There is no reason to brag. Believe it or not, I just accepted who I am although many knew and felt I knew her all the time.

I did not.

Really. I knew there was something oh so special in me and all around me.

Thank God she was there/is here.

Thank God!

Without the shadow of the Queen walking where I have walk(ed), only she and God knows where I would be. I need this moment of the Queen's full debut. Right now. Give me a glimpse once again Queen.

She has been showing up more and more each day and staying by my side longer and longer.

The season of embracing her, oh yes,

my Queen-ness is right around the corner. I'll call her forth with the voice of my soul.

I'll breathe in and out daily beckoning her love, wisdom, beauty, and peace to come forth.

She is here. She is here. She lives here.

I must grab all of her. She awaits my grasp. I know she does. I feel she does. She always has and always will. There is a secret she must reveal.

She tells me of all the abuse I've endured at the hands of me and at the hands of him. The abuse was spiritual she says. I can't go back to such abuse. There is no surviving repeated visitation of abuse, she says.

No more!

I hear her say, Even a queen's heart dies under that kind of attack.

Remember,” the queen says to me very discretely,

Remember that you are...

a mature spiritually grounded female, a businesswoman, with a high social status/a social butterfly, generous, loyal, prosperous, successful, financially independent, financially stable, wealthy, sexy, a homemaker, likes the finer things in life, down to earth, organized, sensible, practical, no-nonsense, kind, welcoming, nurturing, a healer, and most of all...a wonderful mother.

On 3 August 2009 I got one of my creative sparks.  Like many of my creative sparks, I didn't think twice or ask my angels for greater insight.  I only followed the instructions.  Over the years I have gotten quite used to moments like this. This is Terri's Story.  What may seem like a little thing to you may be the very thing that rips someone else apart.

As the rain fell on the car window pane, the tears fell from her eyes almost simultaneously.  Terri heard the rain or did she hear her tears splatter against the steering wheel as she gripped it for dear life.  Life?  What is life when all you feel is pain, she thought.  The pain was supposed to be gone by now.  It wasn't.  In fact, it seemed to consume every aspect of her being on a daily basis.  The night before, she found herself unable to breathe while lying on her in bed on her back, a position she slept in for as long as she could remember.

The phone vibrated against Terri's leg, startling her.  She remembered she was supposed to be going to the grocery store. Terri told her company she'd return shortly but had been gone for almost an hour.  Really she was only three houses down the street.  Thank God for the rain.  If Auntie Leigh  had decided to walk the Sunny, she would see Terri's ivory BMW easily from the house.  At this particular time though, Terri couldn't move, even to save face.  The pain was just too much right now.

"Lord, give me the strength," Terri screamed.  "How could this happen?"  Terri's whole career had been built on her family's name.  Everyone who knew the McRichards family knew their blood line and it's pure lineage was unique because almost every African American person living has at least 1 percent of white blood.  Not the McRichards!  They were African and Native American through and through...or so they thought. 

American History doesn't teach that the American Indians had slaves also.  Black people even had slaves in America.  Although the treatment of the slaves were quite different, they all owned slaves nonetheless.  Terri knew all of this.  She wasn't proud of her family being enslaved by the natives but she was proud that they were able to live as freely as possible on the Indian Reservations.

To find out now that her great great great grandfather was white and wore a hood and white robe devastated her.  

The idea of going on public television responding to all the folks who openly laughed at her made Terri's stomach do somersaults.  As she thought of her situation, a text came through from Nia.

"Terri, please stop where you are and read now..."
